The width of the plot establishes a clear double-bay layout for this new social housing building in Seville. Its structural provision is compatible both with the distribution of the parking, as well as the residential spaces.

This provides great versatility and flexibility in its distribution and use.

A narrow inner band of a humid uses divides the day and night zones. Kitchens and living-dining rooms are located on the main facade to the East. Facing towards the West, the bedrooms are optimally illuminated and ventilated.

On the main elevation, 15% of the social housing building in Seville footprint is open through eight courtyards along the façade and sifted by continuous terraces, creating a vegetal filter between the exterior and interior and breaking the longitudinal continuity of its facade.

The building shows a diverse materiality between the western façade (night area), and the terraced volumes on the east façade (day area). Thus, the Calañas Street facades and their extreme envelopes are built in brick work. The main front faces Flamenco Avenue. It is finished in white mortar with terraces formed of concrete slabs, lattices and metal railings.
