ADA is a project for the commune of Bellevue next to Geneva along the lake. The city is planning to build a new Hotel and a city hall on this astonishing site.

The lake coast from Geneva to Bellevue is characterized by a series of large private villas. The choice is to continue the lake typology and gather the dual program into a “villa” type. The compact volume frees as much public space as possible, opening large views on the lake and access to the garden from the village.

Beyond the flexibility and an efficient plan, the different entrances are distributed by a large common space opened towards the lake and defining the façade. The hotel bedroom and city spaces have access to a large balcony supported by concrete columns. They are slightly inclined giving a feeling of movement like curtains.

Between a villa, a hotel and a city hall, this typological ambivalence gives a specific answer to the program and site.
