The new building for the waterworks Mariagerfjord Vand (which company is an amalgamation of three former companies) will help to give the new company a strong identity. The new head office and the new workshop facilities are located in the countryside just north of the town Hadsund – close to the beautiful fjord Mariagerfjord. The aim has been to create a symbiosis between modern facilities, where functionality, technology and hygiene are paramount, and an open institution where the public is welcome.

The building design is based on the location in the open agricultural landscape. The building is located between a functional surface and the surrounding landscape.
