This project is located within Montevrain’s future “Green neighborhood” that has been planned by Epamarne, and drawn by Atelier Philippe Madec. It is composed of two buildings: an office building hosting the headquarters of a real-estate developer, and a fourteen-apartment building.

The main challenge of this project is twofold: reach high environmental goals, and establish a strong architectural identity.

The building starts with a dense shape and then, develops additional volumes towards the South.  This structure leaves convivial outdoor spaces and helps saving solar energy. This structure drives the buildings occupants to discover the central landscaped garden. Specific attention has been brought to outdoor spaces, in particular by the use of special garden furniture reflecting the design of the building. These outdoor spaces offer shared areas to socialize.

Energy performance and specific lighting levels, providing comfort for the users, is another key element of this project. In addition, the standards of the Bepos certification are met, in particular due to the creation of a central atrium. The use of a strong and solid material such as concrete, to achieve the building, gives the project its identity.
