Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali di Torino
- by OPPS architettura
The chance to offer a new image of the Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali di Torino means pursuing the aim of bringing the museum into the everyday life of the city creating a urban “passage” inside the public spaces of the museum.
This consideration moves from the reading of the old building that housed a hospital, the new design pays particular attention to accessibility for all that, through a coherent design language, defines an immediately clear image of the interface both external and internal. The use of simple and uniform materials, distinguishable but respectful, has been the solution to the comparison with the rigor of the building.
