Nuova Scuola di viale Torino
- by Duepunti Architetti
Cesenatico is a city in which the green of nature blends with the blue of the sea. The trunks of the trees, vertical elements that mark and delimit the space, recall the shapes of the «briccole», wooden poles in the middle of the sea that mark the road to the sailors. A school that allows all children to follow a route, like the «briccole», a safe and exciting journey in which to learn the importance of research, study, respect, diversity and dialogue.
Children need a school that can respond to their wishes and contain their ideas, games and friends. Transparent, hard outside, soft inside, magical, quiet, intimate and decorated, a place full of solicitations, a space within the city where you can cultivate knowledge and research. The world of children is instinct, fantasy and intuition, a world of primary needs not influenced by superstructures, but the need to live freely and without constraints, a space accessible to everyone.
