The new square in Rjukan, Norway, is centrally located and surrounded by stunning nature. The square is designed to invite activity, life and year-around-useage. Rjukans new square is a place where everyone is welcome, residents and visitors, young and old.

As you can see my idea was to use traditional methods and ways of making a square, but giving them a strong connection to the context. Both the estetics and the function is taken from well known qualities of the city Rjukan.
