The project is located outside the urban fabric of the consolidated city, in a position adjacent to the new subdivision areas; it faces north towards the natural landscape.

The new school detaches itself from the urban environment, proposing itself as a nucleus where the main characters that define the urban space are reinterpreted.

The upper floor, where the main access and the nursery school are located, is structured according to the layout of the square, which is overlooked by the institutions (translated into the professors, presidency, administration rooms) but also public events (sports facilities).

The treatment of the external façades is a peculiar aspect of the school, since, through a gradient of soft colors, a chromatism has been studied that is capable of integrating with the surrounding context.

The material chosen for the external facing, highly performing, is a coating consisting of glazed ceramic elements, a reference to the typical majolica of this region, with its reflections, the play of light and shadow, creates a continuous movement on the facade of the building.

A tactile element that can be studied and touched by children.
