The new town hall orchestrates a new pattern of movement in Sola, connecting to new infrastructure and urban space. Public space infiltrates the building, allowing for mulitple ways of access, meeting spots and areas for various events.

The main meeting hall is shaped as a public stage, a political theatre, opening up to the park. The precise concrete facade of the existing wing is reinterpreted in the new building as dark, polished concrete facade elements. A hommage to the local building industry.
