Due to site location and to the chosen architectural type, the new school represents a landmark overlooking both the urban context and the landscape. The tall buildings and the common basement host the requested program, leaving some open space in-between the volumes that can be used at every hour during the day.

The buildings’ position aims not to interfere with the view of the closest buildings behind the project’s site. The new school, as a whole, has been used as an “architectural device” in order to link the two existing part of the city built on two different levels.
