9 social housing units is a second prize competition entry by rhb architectes for Ophéa in 2017. It is located in Strasbourg France in an urban setting. Its scale is small with a surface of 577 sqm a budget of 1.025.000 € and a ratio of 1.776 €/sqm. Key material is metal. Thomas Bouzy collaborated as visualizer.

Located in the Elsau district, to the south-west of Strasbourg’s city centre, the plot enjoys a quiet, residential environment despite its proximity to the prison. The Elsau district is undergoing major changes as part of a current urban renewal project. The urban context and the uniqueness of the plot prompted us to offer a 5-storey intermediate housing building.
