The variety of alternatives of green spaces and terraces in Argenteuil project in France make the accessibility to the outdoors easier for residents. This achieves generous and refreshing areas for resting as well as living and working with benches and chairs and even deckchairs. The users are reconnecting to nature through this mixed residential complex and services. 3 types of green spaces are offered: a garden in the heart of the island for the whole neighborhood, then community gardens on the roof, and finally private spaces private to each accommodation which extends the living area. We have preserved the brick façade along the main street using a wooden frame that is bio-based. Through this decision, the identity of the building resembles its heritage in a modern way. The rainwaters are collected and reused as grey water, which will be used to irrigate plants and vegetation on site.
