The proposal understands culture as a grouping of knowledge, of intellectual and artistic expressions that characterize a society. The concept «grouping» serves as a backbone of the Cultural Center through a central plaza. The typical porticoed architecture, so successful and practical, finishes completing this plaza by means of a perimeter arcade that protects us from rain and sun. The distribution of the program emphasizes the opening of the plaza towards the street and towards the center of town, as a reflection of the willingness to open and welcome that a public building should represent.
