Centro de recepción de visitantes en el yacimiento arqueológico de Clunia is a proposal by Linazasoro & Sánchez developed in 2015. It is located in Colonia Clunia Sulpicia Spain in a rural and undeveloped setting. Its scale is medium. Key materials are concrete and vegetal. Review the 2 proposals for the same competition.

This project includes a semi-underground building close to the current museum and a new parking lot for visitors. It is formed by a patio that evokes a Roman domus, protected from the sun by wooden slats around which some exposed pieces are located, lit with zenith lighting, and the rest of the dependencies.

Around the building a ramp is constructed that allows access to the archeological site from the parking lot and that is closed to the exterior by a concrete lattice, which, however, lets people look around the territory. The roof is vegetal and it contains autochthonous species, which provides full integration to the environment. The whole building is made of exposed concrete.
