Cvernovka 2.0 is a proposal by Chybik+Kristof for YIT in 2017. It is located in Bratislava Slovakia in an industrial and urban setting. Its scale is large with a surface of 45.000 sqm.

The story of the unique industrial area of Cvernovka entitled The Concept of New Cvernovka serves as an example of an unusual attitude to a regeneration of a brownfield, including a preservation of important aspects of its identity. The main topic that is crucial for us here is developing a sensitive approach to the revitalisation of one of the most valuable and oldest industrial areas in Bratislava.

What we aim to do is to revitalize the whole area and to present almost 100,000 m2 of new flats, offices, cultural spaces, public facilities, restaurants and cafés so that a unique residential area was created, easily accessible to the public.
