The spectacular landscape invites one to stay, to carry out the minimum possible intervention to adapt it to the human use. A set of volumes born from the lines of the existing lighthouse are proposed, to showcase it in aim to allow the architecture and Murro di Porco’s enviroment to become a unique place.

The project seeks the coalescence of existing buildings using the landscape as a resource. Previous paths, drawn by human steps, are kept and tamed and new volumes that frame the sea and the existing architecture are set along it. Thermal baths are outlined as the final stage of the itinerary, which would mean the greatest link between the landscape and the visitor through the water element.

The aim of the new hotel is to act as an interlude, an element that achieves to join the parts in a whole to reach a unique experience.
