Helsfyr Subway Station is a proposal by Reiulf Ramstada for Oslo Subway in 2016. It is located in Oslo Norway in an urban setting. Its scale is medium. Key material is concrete.

Helsfyr Subway Station is the most important public transportation junction for people in the Helsfyr area. The project therefore aims to strengthen the interaction between the site’s character and architectural expression of the station.
The proposal for renovation includes simple structural interventions that can upgrade the existing entrances into more accessible, organised and appealing zones for the public.

The design priority is to create a functional, robust and economically efficient solution by conscious use of elements and materials that build a clear concept of the station. New openings in the façade and additional light help to create a better overview and visual understanding of the space during the day and evening.
