The existing park in Ijsselmonde was the starting point of the desingn proces. The park is being lengthened towards the facades of the new park-edge houses. This is possible because we solved the parking behind the houses. Four small living blocks, containing four houses each, are really located in the park. The parking is realized out of sight for the public space.

The plan is known for the clear transition between public and private domain. The housing program on the first floor supplies the public safety in the neighbourhood and the park. The outdoor space of the living blocks are inside the buildings volume. The park continues till the houses facades.

In the plan we aimed at a relative high variety in living typology:
1. Housing with a kitchen to live in at the park side. A living room at the second floor and a royal roof terrace on top of the parking floor.
2. Quadrant houses with a multiple orientation, because the floors are twisted compared to each other.
3. Apartments with an elevator.
