Consolidator – One Spine

The New Eden is not only a juxtaposition of functions, but their actual combination, a Real Mix. Through its openness, it allows to travel around the building, look into the nooks and crannies, and create relationships. The porosity of the building is consolidated by an internal ramp system connecting all floors of the building, including the usable roof. The combination of functions thus becomes an immanent and an unchangeable feature of the building.

Incubator – Host of Relations

The actual combination of functions allows the new building to become a host of social relations. The availability of various programs and the interactions taking place thanks to their clear distribution classify New Eden as an incubator. It’s a place inside which, as a resident, you can enjoy the city, as a guest, you can use it like a home.

Activator – Spectrum of Public Spaces

The New Eden is not only a building operating in itself, but also creating a spectrum of public spaces. Each function has its extension in the form of external space. At the same time, each of these scenes corresponds to the nature of the context. Acting to the outside hence building acts as a creator and urban activator.

Atractor – Real Core

The New Eden is not only another building complementing the masterplan, but a real center of social activity. Its heart is the core visible from almost anywhere being inside as well as oudside. Life of inhabitants and users is organized around him, he is an incubator of relations. Personalized form, which is the dominant of the structure, includes the two most important multifunctional spaces. The core itself acts not only as a one-off attraction, but as a womb, a place to go back to.

Urban Terrace – Usable Roof

The roof of the building is its fifth facade. It is not only a technical space, but in mayority, on the contrary, it contains a city terrace accessible to all building users. Considering the topography of Žižkov, Flora, Stromky and on the other side of the Linerar Park, it is obligatory to have an observation spoty there. Apart from the recreational function on the roof, there are educational pavilions explaining the history of the city – combined with its visible panorama, but also about the old Eden cultural center. In short, urban terrace is an entertainment, leisure, educational and technical function.
