☉ Reconstruction of Hecken's nursery school is a proposal by rhb architectes for Sivom of Diefmatten, Falkwiller, Gildwiller and Hecken in 2024. It is located in Hecken France in an urban setting. Its scale is small with a surface of 489 sqm a budget of 1.350.000 € and a ratio of 2.761 €/sqm. Key material is wood. Luce atelier collaborated as visualizer. Concepts such as central core extension and grid are explored.
The reconstruction project of the Hecken nursery school aims to extend and restructure the existing facility, while maximising its energy and thermal performance. Our proposal is designed in keeping with the existing building context. The construction of a coherent and ambitious ensemble is at the heart of our thinking.
