The project, based on an context and program analysis is designed on two main guiding principles:

– The insertion of small buildings that discreetly “inhabit” the landscape using the traditional vocabulary and expressing a clear identity.
– The organization of the different functions along a path / threshold, to facilitate the visitors’ orientation and the flows distribution.

The project area is organized as a structured system of three oriented bands east-west which correspond to three functional areas. The first,on the street, is the main interface to access the site and aims to welcome the public and direct it towards these functions. The second strip, contains most of the functional program, divided between the outdoor functions, towards the valley to the east, and the indoors functions, west to the municipal building. The third, towards the river, is a respect zone to maintain primarily natural.
