The project provide to renovate the existing house and convert spaces following requirement of investors. We keep the rigid rhythm of the vertical structure which divides the house in 6 parts and taking away pieces of the slab and connecting between stairs we generate new visual connection and new relations between different levels. On the under roof floor we discovered the old timber structure taking away walls and plasters, creating an unique ambience defined by a new insulated wooden box which connects atelier and working spaces between a double height of the house. The new extension is represented by a circular volume which is a theater with a mirror facade reflecting trees and vegetation giving to the volume a sort of artificial landscape inspiring by Dan Graham works. The theater has been though with timber construction and it’s designed by a ramp which leads visitors to the stage, creating above actor spaces and a central scene.
