It is from a reading of an industrial context and the strong urban constraints existing on the site that the opportunity arises to reinterpret the construction existing on the lot as a pretext for the inclusion and creation of balance between the industrial era time and the contemporary comfort conditions associated with the idea not only of housing, but also of public space.

It is from here that a perimeter movement emerges to the lot that intends to maintain the identity of the urban context, and which in turn shelters and affirms the life of the inhabitants of the set and the citizens of the city. With this movement, the idea of city within the city emerges, and contrasts with maintaining the existing perforations and interpreting them as an opportunity to create moments of connection, passage and stay.

Demarcated by its limit, a volume is created in the northern axis, thus moving away from the intense road circulation of Av. Infante Santo, and creating the opportunity for the implementation of a generous urban park that emerges as a filter and complements the idea of city within the city of lisbon. The perforations at the edge allow life to occur between the new created space and the city. An immense opening is projected at the top east of the lot in order to relate not only with the new park suggested to it, but also with its immediate urban context.
