Bodø Town Hall is a proposal by Leth & Gori for Bodø Kommune designed in 2013. It is located in Bodø Norway in an urban setting. Its scale is medium with a surface of 5.300 sqm. Key materials are glass and metal. Concepts such as extension and sloped roof are explored. Review the 7 proposals for the same competition.

The starting point of the project was to create an open and transparent public building – a building belonging to the citizens of Bodø. The project adds a new building to the existing site by erecting a simple tower with the same footprint as the library building that exists on the site today. The tower has a large roof to the east to adjust the volume to the scale of Havnegate and preserve good lighting condition for the neighboring buildings.
