Centro socio-cultural Reinosa is a proposal by Cavejastudio Davide Lorenzato and Eva Damià for COAM and Ayuntamiento de Reinosa in 2013. It is located in Reinosa Spain in an urban setting. Its scale is medium. Key materials are stone and wood. Review the 11 proposals for the same competition.

The project proposal for the new socio-cultural center on the market remains Reinosa which plans to build three buildings that hug, conform and articulate the new indoor town square. These volumes contain a co-working space, a multipurpose space and a cafeteria. Each block is positioned in space so that the existing roads can follow their natural course unhindered. The point of the routes meeting is the central space topped by a large hedge.

The square, which allows access to the buildings, will be the cityís culture exchange point and can be used either as a covered market, and as a setting for concerts or games during the year. The choice to produce three separate buildings generates flexibility of use of space: the individual blocks may operate in an independent manner according to need, without taking account of the time slots or the types of users. Particular attention is paid to the local type, as well as the use of materials such as stone and wood.
