Eau Bonne school group is a proposal by rhb architectes for City of Dammartin-en-Goële designed in 2024. It is located in Dammartin-en-Goële France in an urban setting. Its scale is medium with a surface of 2.139 sqm an estimated budget of 4.000.000 € and a ratio of 1.870 €/sqm. Key material is wood. Luce Atelier collaborated as visualizer. Concepts such as extension sloped roof and courtyard are explored.

The Eau Bonne school complex is located in Dammartin-en-Goële. The primary schools needs to be brought up to PRM standards, rehabilitated and extended to accommodate the increased number of pupils, as well as the extra-curricular, catering and association needs. The project blends into its surroundings through its discreet design. The need for extensions is limited by reclaiming the existing vacant spaces, playing on the codes of its context and promoting compactness. On the ground floor, the refurbished elementary school houses the community areas, linked to the public space. On the upper levels are organised the school and after-school facilities. An extension to the elementary school follows the existing building’s volume and geometry, while subtly differentiating itself through the use of wood and metal. An extension to the north, on a single permeable level, houses the canteen. A timber-framed courtyard completes the project.
