The project is composed of 4 buildings with a great volumes’ coherently, defined depending on the environment, sunshine characteristics and urban’ study of the site. On the city block, two distinct and complementary architectures intertwine to create an amazing and generous spatiality. From the distance, the emergence of the 50m building reveals a slim and lightweight silhouette, with varied reflections of shadow and light. Since the intersection of the street of 18 June 1940 and the street Henri Poincare, these volumetry offer a rich volume variations which strengthens the intrinsic quality of each unit, giving the feeling of living on the top floor on all the floors. The heart of the city block is widely planted, with parts in the ground welcoming tall trees, provides a framework around all the buildings, which seem like floating on vegetation around them. The quality of materials used, is part of the sustainability of the building, we use quality metal facades to offers a real longevity and almost zero maintenance. Thereby the metal strips in brushed aluminum or powder-coated steel, or the perforated steel plate appearance copper / bronze with perforated density variations, have a heat reflective and consistent with the will of a true urban renewal of the area. The presence of vegetation on all the balconies also contributes to a better real life caused by this architectural response.
