The proposal is based on a romantic idea: while hiding behind the fan, a woman earns on an aura of mystery and becomes the center of attentions.

The irony of the gesture leads to the curiosity of the voyeur. This is the metaphor that we want to apply to the wash house in Guimarães: by hiding the object behind a “white curtain”, we seek to arouse the curiosity of the population.
