SuperCade Manitas is a proposal by Santiago Buendia Felipe Rodriguez AR-AR and De la Carrera Cavanzo for Sociedad Colombiana de Arquitectos and Alcaldía de Bogotá in 2018. It is located in Bogotá Colombia in an urban setting. Its scale is medium with a surface of 4.800 sqm a budget of 3.500.000 € and a ratio of 729 €/sqm. Key materials are concrete, brick and glass.

The project is a continuous surface that reproduces and extends the surrounding public space, integrating it in a natural and harmonious way to the urban landscape, topographic and social context.

The building links the upper plaza of the MetroCable station with the public space at its lower base, through a continuous concrete surface made of the same materials of the surrounding squares and terraces, thus bringing «the public» into the interior.

The building revolves around a central patio that sets the atmosphere, gives life and ventilates all its spaces and stands on a solid basement that houses the cellar.
