Terminal Intermodal de Campanhã is a second prize proposal by Pablo Pita and Catarina Alegria designed in 2017. It is located in Oporto Portugal in a railway setting. Its scale is medium. Key material is concrete. Concepts such as triangle shape transport network underground and plaza are explored.

TIC is the design for the Campanhã Bus Terminal, in Porto. Conceptually the project is rooted to a void connected to the existing tunnel comming from the subway station. This pivotal place results into a square that articulates all the different areas inside the Terminal. The programmatic synthesis in this core results in a triangular-shaped volume, whose principle of intervention evokes the logic present in several european stations of the 19th century. The intention is to set a gesture characterized by a conceptual, typological and structural clarity. Therefore the building is marked by the expressiveness and simplicity of the concrete, assuming its mark while skin and structure. The building is complemented by a green platform where the access and internal road circuits are defined. A shaded area with direct relation with the interior spaces, and of great importance in the urban landscape on the southern side of the site, also working as a filter.
