If work can take place almost anywhere today, the choice of work location is primarily a question of the experiences that make up a collective work culture. These include the many formats of collaboration, flexible structures, and informal exchanges that contribute to the collective experience of a typical workday. With this in mind, the design develops an urban building ensemble that interweaves a cluster office structure with the theme of a green recreational space, creating an urban spatial formation and a flexible, adaptable, and interconnected building structure from within itself.

The building area shows a clear and calm urban edge to the outside along the building lines. Four building sections are formed, which are separated from each other by joints and consist of three building volumes each. The joints in the form of access bridges form the functional backbone of the building sections and are created successively with the respective building section.

The «Haidpark» building complex is accessed via light-flooded green joints, like a vertical park. With their different levels, the joints invite movement in space: Stairs, terraces and bridges, on which one can communicate, have informal exchanges, hold meetings and, in addition to using the elevator, have alternative ways of getting to one’s office floor.
