Toi mon Toit is a proposal by Benoit Bourd and Jeanne Chaley for Agora Bordeaux in 2017. It is located in Bordeaux France in an urban setting. Its scale is small with a surface of 800 sqm. Key materials are wood and glass. Concepts such as open ground floor sloped roof and transparency are explored. Review the 2 proposals for the same competition.

The project «Toi mon Toit» is established in the district of the Grand Parc, on the communal subdivision of Vèzes in Bordeaux and takes the form of houses on stilts of two or three levels. This «stall on stilts» offers a certain flexibility of volumes and spaces to answer to the needs and the desires of each one. The floodplain becomes the place of meeting and sharing between neighbors while the «wooden stall» welcomes the living spaces of the family. This quest for proximity to nature, of closeness to people, of flexible housing is imagined to meet the expectations of individuals in search of the living environment of Bordeaux.
