Tomorrow's sports shop is a proposal by Pseudonyme for Decathlon in 2017. It is located in Chaumont France in an industrial setting. Its scale is medium with a surface of 3.600 sqm a budget of 5.400.000 € and a ratio of 1.500 €/sqm. Key materials are glass and wood.

This concept offers the opportunity to imagine attractive places, which will allow your customers to test your products in real conditions. The traditional store is not dead: it remains a place to be advised, to meet other customers and to test the products. That’s is why we propose to reinvent the traditional store to offer the customers an immersive experience in the universe Decathlon.

From an environmental point of view, the project functions as an autonomous ecosystem. The large glazed areas reduce the need for artificial lighting, in parallel photovoltaic panels are used to produce the energy consumed for heating and ventilation of the store. Finally the rainwater of the roof is recovered to feed the plants of the park while the whole structure is made of wood structure of bio sourced origin.

The heart of the store offers a limitless sports experience. Whether to test hiking boots, experience the operation of a new tent or try a new basketball, the park is designed to accommodate all types of sports.
