VPO Entremutilvas is a proposal by Alcolea + Tárrago for NASUVINSA in 2019. It is located in Pamplona Spain in an urban setting. Its scale is medium with a surface of 2.500 sqm a budget of 2.500.000 € and a ratio of 1.000 €/sqm. Key materials are concrete and wood. Jam Images collaborated as visualizer. Review the 2 proposals for the same competition.

The site defines the very edge of the built city, where the residential fabric ends and blends into a diffuse landscape with infrastructure, industrial and commercial areas. The proposal seeks a more permeable and domesticated atmosphere towards an interior landscape towards the south. The garden will work as a visual, acoustic and climatic buffer, mediating the city into the periphery. The project ensures that the units follow the very restrictive regulations but that are not an obstacle to provide flexibility and maximising the available space. And with the greatest comfort and well-being, understood not only from energy aspects, but also from environmental or perceptual standpoint. An additional prefabricated outer space in the southern orientation is added, as an extension of living rooms and kitchens.
It is transformable to extend the limits of the unit and control climate according to seasons by means of textile elements and sliding glass.
